OverviewValuations Surveyor, Marsh Advisory (UK-based)We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Valuations Surveyor to join our Marsh Advisory team. This role could be based anywhere within England or Scotland as long as commutable to a local Marsh office when required. This role offers the chance to work on independent reinstatement valuations and large-scale portfolio assessments across the UK, providing invaluable experience in a dynamic environment. This is the perfect role for either someone with a demonstrable background in Property Valuations/Surveyance or possibly someone with a related degree or experience looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker. The position requires a valid driver’s license as a company car is included, an interest in property and valuation processes, and the willingness to travel across the UK. Responsibilities
Undertake independent on-site valuations Assist with valuation of large property portfolios Undertake desk-top valuations Assist with mass housing portfolio valuations Produce reports to a professional standard
What you need to have
Knowledge of valuation principles Strong report-writing skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail, even whilst working under pressure High level of accuracy and consistency Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to build, manage and develop relationships
