Job Overview

We are seeking a Reflection Room Lead to support and supervise the daily operations of the internal isolation room and coordinate work from relevant subject areas. As the sole supervisor, the ability to work independently is essential.

The Reflection Room Lead will provide high-quality specialist support to help the school maintain its high standards of education and care for pupils working in the reflection room. This role involves ensuring an orderly, safe, and structured learning environment for pupils who are excluded or not engaged in a mainstream timetable. Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to challenge and motivate pupils are required.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with experience working successfully with young people and their families. They will be aware of some challenges faced by young people and hold high aspirations for Co-op North Manchester’s pupils. A commitment to providing all pupils with opportunities to succeed in all areas of their lives is essential.

The role requires carrying out duties with full regard to the Academy Community Committee and academy policies. The job description is not exhaustive, and additional tasks appropriate to the level of appointment may be assigned as needed.
