Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Developer, you’ll shape the future of a high‑growth MarTech product. You’ll lead technical strategy, work directly with founders, data scientists, and clients, and drive innovation and ownership in a scaling business.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support design and development of scalable Python applications that power our AI‑driven marketing platform. From architecting robust systems to guiding our technical roadmap, you’ll champion engineering excellence and embed best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Automated testing and quality checks
• Build pipelines with containers and automated quality checks
• Modern development practices and environments
• API development with Falcon framework
• Pragmatic startup experience and managing ambiguity
• Good understanding of authentication and authorisation (NextAuth/JWT)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of PostgreSQL and data modelling
• Exposure to BigQuery would be beneficial
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
