Research and Development Delivery Manager (Metal Mines) We are hiring a Research and Development Delivery Manager to support Mining Remediation Authority’s mission of reducing pollution from legacy metal mines across the UK. Location & Working Arrangements Hybrid working – on average 2 days working out of our Mansfield office. Application Timeline Application closing date: 2nd November 2025. Plan, design, and deliver a range of R&D projects. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants and contractors. Work in the field to bring R&D activities to life on the ground and in partnership with academic facilities. Oversee multiple trials of mine water treatment technologies to achieve cost‑effective, compact, and sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in scientific or engineering disciplines such as geoscience, chemistry, environmental science/engineering. Demonstrable experience in research and development project management, in academic or industrial settings. Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for challenging conventional approaches.
