Overview

What will you be doing? The Research & Guidance team within System1 is responsible for delivering 5-Star work on time, 100% of the time, ‘as if by magic’ to meet the growth ambitions of the company. This role will support Strategic Global & Regional accounts out of the US with a focus on Comms, Innovation and Brand specialisms. As a Research Consultant, you will be responsible for managing research projects from commission to debrief, interfacing directly with the sales teams and with the client, to deliver continuous research projects according to specifications that exceed clients’ expectations. You’ll independently prepare various research reports, write up and add actionable guidance for clients, and present research findings. You’ll focus on continuous improvement in productivity and profitability while delivering the above. The position reports to the Regional Research & Guidance Team Lead and works closely with the Sales and Operational Delivery teams to achieve KPIs and business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage research projects from commission to debrief, interfacing directly with the sales teams and the client, to deliver continuous research projects according to specifications that exceed clients’ expectations.
  • Independently prepare various research reports and write up actionable guidance for clients.
  • Present research findings to the client.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in productivity and company profitability while delivering all responsibilities above.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Operational Delivery teams to deliver agreed KPIs and business goals, reporting to the Regional Research & Guidance Team Lead.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in the market research industry with experience in research, consulting, marketing, or advertising and innovation; ad testing and tracking experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading projects with a strong understanding of performance metrics.
  • Excellent and confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Appreciation for behavioral science, passion for market research, and an interest in advertising; performance-focused and data-oriented decision maker.
  • Meticulous, process-driven, and skilled at problem solving and analyzing issues.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively; customer-focused and able to solve client problems.
  • Adaptive to changing environments and committed to developing others and inspiring high performance.
