We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application. Please let us know if you need to request reasonable adjustments.
We take pride in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment, where the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees drive fresh thinking and innovation. We understand that success means different things to different people. We believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we support you to pursue a career that’s unique to you. Because success is personal.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the Zero Carbon Applications and Future Energy Systems teams to develop and deliver impactful research projects. Your work will support EDF’s strategic goals and contribute to the UK’s energy transformation.
You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of projects, engaging with internal and external stakeholders including our partners in France, UK academia, and industry. Your role will involve sourcing data, conducting analysis, and producing high-quality reports and presentations.
You’ll provide expert insights across all Zero Carbon Applications projects, ensuring knowledge transfer and coordination with EDF Group R&D. Your contributions will help identify technical innovations and market opportunities.
Who You Are
You’re an excellent communicator with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You can convey complex technical and business insights to senior stakeholders across the UK and internationally.
You’re a natural leader and influencer, adaptable and skilled at building networks. Your innovative mindset and problem-solving abilities enable you to conduct novel research and drive progress.
Ideally, you have a background in engineering, science, economics, or business, with knowledge of the UK power sector and Zero Carbon technologies. French language skills and a strategic mindset are desirable. Above all, you’re committed to safety, sustainability, and making a positive impact.
Closing date for applications is 20th August, interviews will follow shortly after.
