Role
This is a contract role for a Resort Manager located in the London office with deployment in Powder Byrne resorts across the Swiss, Austrian Alps and Italian Dolomites, with the possibility of some work from home. The Resort Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day resort planning, operations and logistics, assisting pre-travel client concierge, ensuring five star customer experience throughout, managing partner relations, leading Powder Byrne programmes and services and resort team members (assistant resort managers, programme managers, drivers, ski hosts, mountain hosts, guides and children club assistants).
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day resort planning, operations and logistics
- Assist pre-travel client concierge
- Ensure five-star customer experience throughout
- Manage partner relations
- Lead Powder Byrne programmes and services and resort team members (assistant resort managers, programme managers, drivers, ski hosts, mountain hosts, guides and children club assistants)
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent Client Experience and Customer Service skills
- Leadership, management and team building skills
- Operational experience (ideally in tourism or hospitality)
- Administrative and organisational skills (use of software systems, communication and tracking tools)
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Language skills (German speaking) are ideal but not required
- Skier and or keen understanding of ski resort logistics and operational requirements
