Overview
We currently have a fantastic opportunity to be a part of moving our Recruitment function forwards, supporting our frontline teams as a Resourcing Lead/Recruitment Lead. This is an exciting time to join a highly enthusiastic team, committed to recruiting people throughout the business whose aim is to make a difference to the lives of the people we support. This role will be a combination of home and office working from our Support Centre in Halesowen. It is anticipated you typically work 4 days from home and 1 day in the office, with flexibility to increase this as the business requires. This is a key role within the function and will help to continue to develop the joined-up approach to recruiting and onboarding new starters into the business.
Responsibilities
- Report into the Resourcing Manager and work very closely with the Regional Managers and Divisional Managing Director on understanding the key challenges of the division and areas of priority.
- Attend divisional meetings/calls as a recruitment representative.
- Lead both the recruitment and a team of 7 that are aligned to the division, creating a joined-up approach to the full end-to-end recruitment cycle.
- Lead by example to drive efficiencies and promote productivity within the team, setting individual and team targets.
- Prioritise key services that are experiencing staffing challenges by providing additional support and focus to establish the root cause by analysing and manipulating staffing data.
- Work closely with the Resourcing Manager to further develop and improve recruitment processes and candidate attraction initiatives.
- Provide recruitment data and benchmarking documents to support pay reviews, staffing reviews and reporting purposes when requested.
- Work closely with the recruitment marketing manager to improve brand awareness.
- Support the Resourcing Manager with ad hoc recruitment-related projects.
Qualifications
- Previous line management/team leader experience, managing a small team.
- Previous experience of recruiting for ad-hoc, high-profile vacancies.
- Success in recruiting across your current portfolio of services.
- A positive approach to change and the ability to motivate a team, even during the most challenging of times.
- Previous experience of training and mentoring new team members/upskilling and sharing best practice with existing team members.
- A professional approach to building relationships with key stakeholders including both Regional Managers and the Regional Directors.
