We have an excellent opportunity to join our award-winning ESG team. We are looking to recruit a proactive ESG executive to help deliver and support our international ESG programme. This role is focused on our social impact and sustainability engagement programmes. This is a hybrid role.

About the Role

Responsible Business lies at the heart of CMS. Our Social Impact programme aims to make a positive difference in the communities we live and work in, both locally and globally. You will be a key member of the ESG team, supporting the Head of ESG, Senior Responsible Business managers and the wider team on a broad range of ESG activities, engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social impact and sustainability, be a self-starter, an excellent communicator, and able to balance a busy workload. You will gain involvement in a variety of work including:

  • Managing a variety of employee volunteering programmes across the business, including engagement, recruitment, event setup, delivery and evaluation to ensure maximum impact.
  • Working with key stakeholders, including clients, to deliver social impact and sustainability projects.
  • Managing aspects of the firm’s charitable giving programmes including fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns.
  • Communicating our social impact and sustainability strategy and progress across stakeholders and channels.
  • Building engagement and embedding social impact and sustainability across the business, locally and globally.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external submission/distribution.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community partners, organisations and networks.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as processing invoices, budgeting, data capture and reporting.
  • Working with colleagues to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the function.

About You / Qualifications

We will invest in your ongoing training and development. To be considered for this role, you should meet the following skills and experience:

  • 2/3+ years of experience in a similar role or in event management, employee engagement, or communications.
  • Energetic, resilient, proactive with a can-do attitude, strong organisational and project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, spoken and presentational, with experience delivering high levels of client service.
  • Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple deliverables within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and excellent influencing and networking skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to manage workload using initiative.
