You will be part of a team utilizing advance analytics and machine learning techniques applied in pricing structures. You will be working in collaboration with the data engineering team and the quote engine team to support the bespoke pricing algorithms.

Your day to day:

• Drive and aid initiatives with the Group Head of Retail Pricing and Implementation to achieve the most efficient pricing by selecting the optimal balance between contribution and volume (Efficient Frontier) across all products underwritten by Policy Expert.
• The job holder will also enforce commercial changes in between optimisation cycles, working closely with Retail & Marketing and other cross functional teams.
• Identify day to day pricing changes between optimisation cycles to meet sales targets.
• Scan market movements to identify appropriate strategies across Policy Expert products.
• Review portfolio mix and business performance by client segment to identify optimal pricing changes.
• Liaise with Retail & Marketing and other relevant stakeholders to assist with cross functional projects e.g., marketing campaigns, branding, product adjustments e.g., excess changes.
• Develop a good comprehension of loss ratio development trends to identify appropriate short-term and longer-term measures.
• Facilitate with the preparation of the Trading Committee, including material, follow up actions etc.
• Set pricing for ancillary products.

Who are you:

• Degree in numerically based discipline e.g., Maths, Data, Statistics
• Data modelling techniques
• 2+ years insurance pricing experience
• Commercially focussed
• Performance management
• Reactivity and speed in execution
• Decision making

This role will be based in our London office in a 50/50 Hybrid mode
