Retail Stocktaking Team Leader – Eastbourne

Salary: £13.78 per hour (includes holiday pay; £12.30 base + £1.48 holiday pay). Car allowance: £290 per month. Location: Eastbourne.

About the role

As a Retail Stocktaking Shift Leader you will take accountability for managing teams of up to 60 stock counters, delivering end-to-end stock taking services on client sites. Shifts vary and you will travel to different client sites; occasional overnight stays may be required. You will work Monday–Sunday with up to 5 days in a 7-day pattern and evening/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct procedures and processes are followed
• Deliver exceptional customer service on all sites
• Complete stock counts accurately and within the given time frame
• Monitor and improve team productivity where possible

Qualifications

• A Full Driving License
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Effective communication with all levels of personnel
• Basic IT skills
• Ability to remain focused under pressure
• Manage time effectively and work without immediate supervision
• Willingness and ability to travel

Additional notes

• Prolonged standing and use of step stools and ladders; some sites are warehouses or large retail premises
• Role involves unsociable hours, early mornings or night shifts; must be 18+
