You will be at the heart of compensation and workforce planning, turning complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. From salary benchmarking and incentive modelling to forecasting future workforce needs, your analysis will influence how the business plans for growth and supports its employees. This position will suit a highly analytical, detail-focused professional who enjoys problem solving, working with data, and making a tangible impact across People and Finance functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual salary and bonus review cycles through data modelling and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain workforce planning models to forecast headcount, cost, and turnover.
  • Create and manage dashboards to report on key workforce metrics for leadership teams.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market research to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Analyse and model the effectiveness of current and proposed incentive and bonus schemes.
  • Analyse data to support pay equity reviews and D&I reporting initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to analyse recruitment trends and inform workforce plans.
  • Ensure data integrity across HR systems for accurate reporting.
  • Assist in job evaluation processes and maintain compensation frameworks.
  • Support ad-hoc analytical projects related to compensation, benefits, and organisational design.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Excel to a high standard. You can expect to utilise Excel for a range of day-to-day activities.
  • Proven experience in an analytical role, within a HR, Reward, Compensation, or Finance team.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset, able to interpret complex data sets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical, accuracy-driven approach.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • Strong interest in compensation principles and workforce planning methodologies.
