Job Description

• Develop and implement risk management strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters.
• Maintain and update policies and procedures related to risk and compliance.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management and trustees on compliance activities.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
• Support the organisation in embedding a culture of compliance and accountability.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Risk and Compliance Manager should have:

• Demonstrated expertise in risk management and compliance within the not-for-profit sector.
• A strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks in the UK.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with staff and stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications in legal, compliance, or risk management fields.
