By maintaining the ERM framework and promoting appropriate risk governance, the team identifies and assesses key risks, advises on the control environment, reports to senior leaders, and fosters a risk-aware culture alongside teams like Compliance and Information Security. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and managed in line with the Risk Management Framework, best practice and regulatory requirements, helping to safeguard our business and support informed decision-making. You’ll have the opportunity to build and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as risk governance committee members, ensuring the effective delivery of the Group’s risk and business objectives. You’ll champion the Risk Division as a centre of excellence, using your technical expertise to drive the ongoing development and enhancement of our Risk Management Framework and tools. By collating, analysing, monitoring, and reporting on risk data and events, you’ll provide valuable insights to stakeholders and committees, supporting informed business decisions and ensuring we meet all internal, external, and regulatory requirements. Additional duties: * Advise and support the business on Group-wide risks, risk events, and emerging risks, ensuring proactive effective risk management. * Design and deliver clear communications and training to strengthen risk knowledge and governance across the Group. * Identify and recommend improvements to risk management practices in line with best practice and regulations. * Ensure efficient use of the Group risk management system, designing reporting and enhancing functionality. * Deliver thematic reviews to outline areas of focus and inform decision-making.## About youYou are an experienced risk management professional with a solid background in technical risk management, ideally developed within the insurance, financial services, or banking sectors. You bring proven expertise in using risk management systems to accurately record, monitor, and report risk information, supporting effective decision-making across the business. With strong stakeholder engagement skills, you build constructive relationships and are able to influence and guide key discussions. Your strengths in analytical thinking, effective communication, and presentation delivery enable you to convey complex risk matters with clarity. You also demonstrate excellent written communication skills, producing high-quality reports that meet professional standards.
