About the Role The Risk Executive position presents an exceptional opportunity to gain business-wide insight and to provide advice and solutions across a variety of regulatory and compliance areas. The Risk function plays a pivotal role within Bishop Fleming to underpin the business and maintain regulatory and quality standards as it carries out its strategic growth. As a Risk Executive you will be involved in varied and significant responsibilities. The role involves operating across a range of different topics and applying analytical and problem-solving skills daily. The Risk Executive is a key member of our inclusive and supportive central Risk team.

Responsibilities

• Compliance, assurance and ICAEW regulation in a growing accountancy firm
• Compiling reviews and reports for the board
• Regulatory compliance
• Financial crime management such as anti-money laundering (AML)
• Professional indemnity insurances support
• Risk management and business continuity activities
• Client onboarding risk assessments
• Data privacy and data protection
• Project management and stakeholder reporting (e.g. procurement projects, offboarding)
• Delivering risk insights and responding to cases as they are presented

• This role is particularly suitable to people with the following backgrounds: Paralegal, Accountant with regulation and compliance experience, Solicitor, Regulatory Compliance Specialist. If you are ACA or ACCA qualified, that would be an added benefit!
