As a Risk Manager at AWE, you'll play a crucial role in national security by managing risks across key business functions. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on some of the UK's most complex infrastructure programmes.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing risk, opportunity, and issue management across defined business functions.
• Delivering a consolidated view of total risk exposure against strategic objectives at the enterprise level.
• Embed risk, opportunity, and issue processes and drive reporting accuracy.
• Conducting assessments and reviews of existing risks.
• Developing strategies to mitigate identified risks.
• Review and update Risk Management policy artefacts.
• Applying risk management methodologies and risk analysis tools.
• Supporting business functions in maintaining their risk registers.
• Supporting 2nd Line Assurance review activities.
• Supporting the enterprise risk management team to increase the maturity of the business.
