Our client, a major player in the telecommunications sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Risk Manager to help redesign and embed supplier risk processes across their group. Contract Details
- Contract Length: until February 2026 (with visibility to extend)
- Location: London (hybrid – three time per week on-site)
- Daily Rate: £550 per day (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement supplier risk management frameworks and governance policies.
- Conduct supplier risk assessments across the full lifecycle using internal and external tools.
- Monitor emerging risks and market trends, issuing alerts and reporting to governance forums.
- Provide insights and best practices to integrate risk controls into sourcing and contracting processes.
- Engage with industry forums and working groups to stay ahead of trends and raise the organisation’s profile.
- Analyse supplier data to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to build a culture of resilience.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain risk management, ideally in a large corporate or consultancy setting.
- Strong understanding of EU regulations and supplier risk certification schemes.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; experience with risk platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Moody’s, D&B) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Self-starter with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
