You will offer regional support within the ITO Commercial Operations team for contract terms and conditions review. You will provide risk mitigation and compliance strategy recommendations for bids where customer T&Cs diverge from BH standard T&Cs. You will be the primary T&Cs reviewer for proposals and provide support to Commercial Managers for projects/proposals during the R2 (proposal construction, risk review/approve, negotiation) phase of the Company\u2019s ITO R process, supporting customer negotiations as necessary. You will provide first-line customer care team T&C support for flow quotes / orders.

Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the on-time review of contract as part of the opportunity commercial team.
  • Negotiating directly with customers on terms by reviewing customer terms and conditions, preparing counter terms and conditions with risk mitigation, and defining strategy.
  • Coordinating with internal functions including legal, finance, HSE, Product Company Execution and Commercial to obtain required internal approvals as part of the customer negotiation process.
  • Working with the sales team as a key partner in the development of winning proposals and contracts.
  • Supporting the SBU strategy & Region metrics in meeting segment Orders, Sales, As-Sold CM and Hit Rate.
  • Enforcing order-booking requirements and driving an improved OTR turnover process to ensure proper control of contract flow-down requirements.
  • Managing project terms and conditions for high-value projects, including management of direct reports.
  • Maintaining regular contact with legal, finance and SBU and advising senior leadership on needs, risks and risk mitigation options.
  • Reviewing all commercial contract documents on key projects and preparing internal instructions to ensure all internal departments understand the commercial requirements.
  • Ensuring deviations from Company standard terms are approved and compliant with DoA and the Risks Review Checklist (RRC).
  • Managing L4/L5 risk projects for leadership approval prior to quotation or order acknowledgement via the L4/L5 Risk Review.
  • Offering support on OC for key projects to ensure contract terms meet the Company\u2019s risk profile and order requirements are defined.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Manager for formal communication with customers during ITO and providing strategy recommendations to win projects.

Qualifications

  • Have BA from an accredited university or college.
  • Have Aerospace experience or background.
  • Have Commercial experience or background.
  • Have experience with Nuclear contracts.
  • Have Legal or paralegal experience or background.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be a collaborator with business partners, exhibiting sound interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have prior experience in sales, commercial finance, contract negotiation and execution (advantageous).
