We\'re on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Road Risk Manager to join our growing QHSE division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in fleet compliance or transport safety who\'s ready to take the next step in their career.

In this pivotal role, you\'ll work closely with our Fleet team to shape and deliver our road risk management strategy—ensuring our policies and procedures align with industry best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of our road risk compliance strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of vehicle related incidents.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into all road traffic incidents, identifying root causes and recommending preventative actions.
  • Analyse incident trends and risk areas, implementing effective mitigation measures.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership across the business on risk reduction strategies.
  • Deliver clear, director-level reporting on road risk performance, highlighting trends, successes, and areas requiring support.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in transport management, QHSE, compliance, or an insurance-related role.
  • NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
  • A confident, investigative mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • A solid understanding of safety regulations and the ability to interpret and apply legislation effectively.
