The Robotics Technical Field Sales Specialist role at Smith+Nephew is a national field sales position that provides specialist sales and implementation support to customers. The role partners with field sales and robotics leadership to support customers across the full sales lifecycle, including demonstrations and training to drive increased utilization and account growth. Location: national role; it would be advantageous to live within easy access of London, East Anglia and Cambridgeshire.
What will you be doing?
Partner with field sales and robotics sales leadership to support customers across the whole sales lifecycle — including implementation. Provide demonstrations and training on our robotics portfolio to drive increased utilization and account growth. Engage with customers daily to offer advice, guidance and product knowledge. Collaborate with marketing, medical education teams and sales leadership to drive revenue and relationships across the category.
What does success look like?
Success will be measured by revenue of our robotics portfolio. A successful Robotics Technical Field Specialist will have excellent relationships with customers (both clinical and non-clinical). Much of this work occurs in hospital theatre environments in priority accounts, and the role will support ongoing relationships with existing Smith+Nephew customers and help develop business in new accounts.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Significant experience in a hospital theatre environment is essential.
- Full training will be provided; previous experience or capability in Robotics / enabling technologies in medical devices is preferred, but not essential.
- Consistent record of success in delivering for customers and patients.
- Willingness to travel nationally.
