We’re seeking an RVP of Enterprise Sales to build and coach our growing Enterprise Sales Executive team to quota and booking targets.
You will lead, develop and manage our team of Account Executives. You will work closely with Marketing, Sales Operations and Product teams (as well as other business units) to be accountable for delivering against budgeted revenue and KPI goals. You will be responsible for leading the efforts to drive productivity and efficiency improvement for your team through innovation, new technologies, skill set training and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop and manage a team of Account Executives in the Enterprise segment.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, Product and other business units to achieve budgeted revenue and KPI targets.
- Drive productivity and efficiency improvements through innovation, new technologies, skill-building, and process improvement.
- Oversee hunting for net new business with enterprise customers and educate the market about Salesloft’s value.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deal cycles and customer outcomes.

The Skill Set
- 5+ years of experience as an enterprise sales leader in a SaaS environment
- A hunter DNA sales leader adept at developing compelling Points of View and delivering them to C-suite executives to drive new business
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets and guide a team through complex sales cycles
- Highly driven, proactive with strong execution focus and urgency; believes in Salesloft’s mission
- Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
- Experience as a team-building leader who can rally direct and indirect staff to drive results
Milestones
Within One Month
- Attend New Hire Orientation to learn Salesloft’s story and culture
- Join 3-week Sales Bootcamp to learn our software and skills for market impact
- Begin 1:1s with your team, review 30-60-90 plan, meet and shadow broader Salesloft team
- Collaborate with manager on new initiatives to improve day-to-day operations; build the best Sales Executive team
- Set OKRs with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Meet key partners in Account Management, Finance, Marketing, Executives, etc.
- Become demo certified
Within Three Months
- Become a product expert; demo and assist team in closing deals
- Assess team members and provide ongoing coaching for performance and career paths
- Develop and implement sales strategies driving growth against targets
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecast with the Senior Leadership team
- Hire, develop, coach and manage a strong team of Account Executives
- Participate in team-building and company-growth activities
- Learn Salesloft product, value, competitors, and industry trends
- Help the team achieve activity goals
Within Six Months
- Help the team meet or exceed quota
- Complete Lessonly training on negotiation and new releases
- Continue focus on OKRs
Within Twelve Months
- Be considered a top-performing team leader by consistently exceeding team goals
- Cultivate a high-performing team with consistent month-to-month success
- Mentor, lead, or coach other new peers
