Sales Administrator - 12 month FTC - Hybrid

Overview

Our client, a specialist software company providing secure, high-performance communication solutions to business and government bodies, is seeking an experienced and detail focused Sales Administrator, to join them on a 12-month FTC. Although initially a contract role there is a strong possibility that it will become permanent, due to our client’s ongoing plans for growth.

Note: This is a client focused role and pivotal to long-term customer success and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Sales Lead and work in a hybrid model (3 days a week at the company’s offices near Twickenham/Teddington in Southwest London).
  • Ensure on-time renewal of annual support contracts, track timelines, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Onboard new customers and partners, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partner stakeholders, acting as the first point of contact for questions related to software products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Finance and Sales.
  • Monitor assigned accounts to identify early signs of issues before they escalate and manage/exceed expectations.
  • Maintain and update supplier portals and Salesforce CRM.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a B2B sales support role for a SaaS or IT services provider.
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills and a confident telephone manner.
  • Experience with a CRM – Salesforce would be preferred.
  • Professional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to communicate confidently with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Confidence in navigating complex issues with diplomacy and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with support, finance, and technical teams.

Offer and additional details

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and experienced team. The FTC role is offered with a pro rata salary of £41,000 inc London Weighting plus performance related pay and generous benefits. Due to our client’s ambitions for scale, there is the firm possibility that the role will become permanent after the initial contract period.
