Job Purpose
As a Sales Analyst at STATS Group, you will play a crucial role in analyzing sales data to uncover insights, track performance, and help optimize sales strategies. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure decisions are based on actionable, data-driven insights.

- Analyze and interpret sales data to identify key trends, win/ lost patterns, and areas for improvement in sales matrix.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, sales dashboards, and KPIs to track performance and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with sales teams to optimize sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
- Conduct market research to support sales forecasting and provide insights into customer behavior.
- Make data-driven recommendations on pricing, product positioning, and promotional strategies.
- Track customer purchasing behavior and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Assist with the creation of sales presentations and proposals, ensuring data-backed insights are included.
- Partner with the finance team to analyze sales forecasts and actual results, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong educational background.
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Proven experience as a Sales Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of improving sales performance
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM software and sales forecasting tools is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and pleasant manner towards fellow staff members and suppliers.
- Ability to be flexible in working practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to motivate self and others.
- Ability to solve problems efficiently.
