The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused team member to join our sales and customer service team. This role is all about delivering a market-leading customer experience, answering customer enquiries, guiding riders through their buying journey, and providing after-sales support. While most of your work will be via phone and email, you’ll also represent Pearson Cycles at selected in-person events, meeting customers and sharing your passion for cycling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and efficient support. Take ownership of all sales enquiries, guiding customers from their initial interest through to purchase, ensuring they feel informed and supported at every step. Manage and nurture the entire sales funnel from handling incoming leads and following up on prospects, to coordinating test rides and finalising orders always to deliver a seamless and positive Pearson experience.
  • Carry out sales administration tasks, ensuring all orders and customer records are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide ongoing support to our retail partners, assisting with product information, order queries, and account needs.
  • Coordinate with our production and workshop teams to ensure accurate and timely builds.
  • Handle after-sales issues, including warranty claims, with efficiency and care to maintain customer confidence in the Pearson experience.
  • Represent Pearson at events, exhibitions, and demo days.
  • Keep up to date with Pearson products, cycling trends, and relevant industry developments.

About You

  • Passion for cycling, ideally with knowledge of performance carbon road and gravel bikes.
  • Proactive mindset with a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, always ready to take initiative.
  • A hands-on, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to go the extra
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer-first mindset and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple tasks at once.
  • Previous customer service or sales support experience (cycling industry experience a bonus).
  • Willingness to attend occasional events, sometimes involving travel.

What We Offer

Location: Based between East Sheen London and home - FT ( 9.00am - 5.30pm)

Starting salary up to £25k - £30k depending on experience.
