MPI is looking for a Sales Consultant: Key Account (Permanent).
Hours: Full-time: 37.5 hours
Department: External Sales
Location: The successful candidate should live in postcode areas of GL and MP, with quick access to motorway networks.

Our client provides automation and fluid control solutions for factory and laboratory applications, targeting sectors such as automotive, food, beverage & packaging, and life sciences. They are a wholly-owned subsidiary of a Japanese corporation. The UK operation is located on a 14-acre site in Milton Keynes, housing offices, design, factory, and warehousing. They are the UK and global market leader in their field.

The Role
As a Sales Consultant for Key Accounts, you will manage large production OEMs across multiple sites, focusing on growing the business within the East of England machine & device manufacturers sector by selling to senior management, supply chain, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Create and execute a sales plan
- Develop sales by understanding customer needs and building relationships
- Promote corporate value propositions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Maintain good relationships with distributor sales partners
- Keep accurate records of sales activities using CRM
Skills and Experience
Sales experience and an engineering-based technical qualification are preferred, but attitude is more important. If you have drive, competitiveness, and people skills, apply regardless of experience.
