Are you a motivated, tech-savvy professional with a passion for live events, sales, and creative marketing?
We're working on behalf of a leading technical company in the events space to find an ambitious Sales and Marketing Executive to join their growing team.
Based in Islington, this is a great opportunity to work with a business that delivers AV and production services to major exhibitions and events across the UK and Europe.
The Opportunity
In this hybrid sales and marketing role, you’ll play a crucial part in connecting exhibitors with AV solutions that bring their stands to life. You’ll help guide clients to the right technology, boost online traffic to digital platforms, process orders, and support the full sales cycle — all while bringing your creative marketing flair to the table.
This is more than a desk job — you'll also be onsite for key exhibitions, supporting client needs in person and ensuring a seamless experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive exhibitor engagement via targeted marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp)
- Contact and consult with prospective clients by email and phone to discuss AV needs
- Create detailed, tailored quotations and proposals
- Process orders via direct client contact and online webshops
- Attend larger events onsite to support clients and order coordination
- Use the company CRM system for order tracking, updates, and reporting
- Supervise and support the exhibitor sales team
- Collaborate across departments to deliver excellent service
- Proven sales track record with commercial awareness
- Experience supervising or leading team members
- Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- A creative and curious mindset – ideally with experience using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn
- Experience in events, exhibitions, or AV is highly beneficial
