Overview

Great sales opportunity for a top performing financial markets data sales professional who is fluent in both Italian & English to play a key sales role in European expansion. Excelsior has been engaged to conduct a search for this innovative market data solutions provider for the financial markets, with a global client base of investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and exchanges. Following the appointment of new sales leadership to take the company to the next level, they are seeking to grow their European sales team to take advantage of untapped market potential for their market leading solutions against larger market players (i.e. Bloomberg, S&P & LSEG).

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales you will become an integral member of the company and take a lead role in selling their unique suite of data solutions to both new and existing accounts in Southern Europe. This is a great career opportunity for someone who wants to work for a company where they can be a bigger fish in a smaller pond, with strong untapped sales potential and an uncapped commission structure.

Responsibilities

• Sell financial market data / data feeds / data distribution / data management solutions to clients (examples include Bloomberg, LSEG / Refinitiv, S&P / IHS Markit, Nasdaq, ICE, Fitch, Moody's or similar).
• Meet sales targets, particularly for new business / logo acquisition.
• Learn and articulate data solutions that are new or unique in the market.
• Collaborate in a small company environment that values an entrepreneurial approach to growing the European business.

Qualifications

• Experience selling financial market data / data solutions to large financial institutions and market data providers.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets, especially for new business / logo acquisition.
• Ability to understand and sell data solutions that are new or unique in the market.
• Willingness to work in a small company environment with an enterprising mindset.
• Fluent in both Italian & English.

Location

London (hybrid).

Remuneration

Appropriate basic salary & commission structure to reward high sales performers.
