Overview

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive / Business Development Manager required to join a manufacturer of engineering consumables, conveyor components, belting, power transmission and MRO products used in the materials handling industry, specifically airports, intralogistics, warehousing, logistics, distribution centres and postal environments.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive / Business Development Manager will cover UK wide, but ideally based around the Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry, Norwich, Cambridge, Corby, Peterborough, Tamworth and surrounding areas.

A background selling into the materials handling industry, specifically airports, intralogistics, warehousing, logistics, distribution centres and postal environments is preferred. Previous experience selling engineering / industrial products, conveyor components, belting, power transmission, bearings, rollers, engineering consumables, conveyors, materials handling equipment, MRO products, or similar is beneficial but full product training is provided.

Package

• 45K - 50K depending on experience plus bonus

Role

• New business development and account management
• Selling conveyor components, belting, power transmission, materials handling and MRO products
• Selling into the materials handling industry, specifically airports, intralogistics, warehousing, logistics, distribution centres and postal environments.
• Have support from Product Specialists and liaise with various engineering departments
• Handling customer inquiries and preparing quotations, sales and completion contracts.
• Working remotely covering UK wide.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in a sales position, Area Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager or similar
• Experience selling into the materials handling industry, specifically airports, intralogistics, warehousing, logistics, distribution centres and postal environments.
• Previous experience selling engineering / industrial products, conveyor components, belting, power transmission, bearings, rollers, engineering consumables, conveyors, materials handling equipment, MRO products, or similar is beneficial but full product training is provided
• Flexible on location, ideally around the Midlands or surrounding areas
