The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities. This role focuses on lead generation, outbound prospecting, and relationship building with potential customers and partners. The SDR will work closely with senior sales colleagues to support the sales pipeline and contribute to regional and individual sales targets.

Day to day:
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing partners, dealers, and end-users.
- Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and progression through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Program Managers to support sales strategies and regional growth plans.
- Generate and manage quotes and proposals using internal systems.
- Promote and increase the use of digital tools such as e-signature platforms and externally submitted proposals.
- Support the credit process by gathering and submitting necessary documentation and rationale.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and regional calls, sharing best practices and contributing to team success.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of individual and regional Notional Profit contribution targets.
- Year-over-year growth in regional performance.
- Digital adoption metrics, including e-signature usage and external proposal generation.
- Contribution to broker channel development and performance.
- Active participation in team collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in finance or asset finance.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team goals.
- Experience in the food and agriculture industry is a plus but not required.
