Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead - 6 months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid

The client is an industry-leading global financial market data provider undergoing an exciting transformation project: migrating from Siebel to Salesforce CPQ. This is a 6-month initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension. The hybrid role requires 3-4 days per week onsite in London and offers a competitive rate of up to £600 per day Inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involve in Salesforce CPQ solution design and development.

• Liaise with key stakeholders to determine and prioritise business requirements, transforming them into technical requirements, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful, cost-effective project execution.

• Create, run and present measurable BRD/FSD (Blueprints) that align a customer's technical business needs to Salesforce solutions.

• Drive technical (HL and LL) design and development for major components of focused solutions.

• Offer best practice advice and recommendations to clients, often extending beyond Salesforce to topics around overall systems architecture and CRM strategy.

• Collaborate with functional teams to determine how best to implement solutions (declarative vs programmatic vs AppExchange).

• Apply knowledge of broader solution components (transformation platform, integration platform, etc.) beyond the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Implement robust Platform Security including PII data protection, authentication, and authorisation.

• Design and implement integrations (REST, SOAP, Salesforce Connect), data migration, and deployment strategies.

What You'll Ideally Bring:

• 8-12 years of experience in technology (product and engineering), with at least 4+ years in Salesforce CPQ development.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.

• Strong hands-on experience in LWC, Apex coding, Flows, Integration, AURA, and JavaScript.

• In-depth Salesforce CPQ experience, both functional and technical (product configurations, bundles, quoting, pricing, discounting, workflows).

• Proven leadership in application design and the ability to translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex Salesforce CPQ solutions.

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.

• Salesforce CPQ Functional Consultant certification.

• Salesforce Sales Cloud certification.
