To support our continued growth and exciting plans, we’re looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Team and build scalable, high-quality solutions that enhance business processes, integrate seamlessly with other systems, and enable Bionic to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving operational efficiency and innovation.

The Role

You will be a member of the Salesforce Squad who maintains and grows our Salesforce platform to enable Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and Customer Service teams to provide a first-class service to our customers.

You will be developing technical solutions that deliver business requirements, and you’ll be integrating the Salesforce platform with other enterprise applications. You will be working closely with Software Engineers, Salesforce Administrators, the Salesforce Technical Lead and Software Architects to implement solutions supported by extensive automated tests.

This role is pivotal to expanding e2e test automation knowledge across other team members. You will focus on developing solutions and test automation, couching the rest of the team in automation to enable high quality software and platform stability, promoting test automation as a key aspect of the team's delivery.

The Team

The Salesforce Team are pivotal to the Bionic organisation and provide business critical services to support teams within Bionic. The team contains Developers, Administrators and Product resources to ensure successful delivery of projects, small improvements and continuous technical essentials to the platform.

This role is based in our London Office on a hybrid basis (1 day a week in-office).

About you

As the Salesforce Developer your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop Salesforce solutions for business requirements including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, REST and SOAP API and Lightning Components.
  • Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the tech lead and architects to design solutions for to business requirements.
  • Design and develop Automated tests for Salesforce-based applications, customisations, and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve bugs/errors and production incidents.
  • Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security model and testing security implementations.
  • Salesforce sandbox management and deployment best practices.
  • Support the Salesforce Product Manager and Technical Lead in creating comprehensive test strategies for the delivery of projects that impact several hundred end users.
  • Ensuring clear understanding and confident adoption of new solutions by business users.

Required skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, with a solid understanding of platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Solid test automation experience with Provar or similar tools, test builder and direct manipulation of the underlying Selenium code.
  • Understanding of Salesforce flow development supported by extensive tests.
  • Excellent communication skills including working in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and team-oriented work environment following agile practices.
  • Brings enthusiasm and self-drive, thrives on solving problems creatively, and excels at juggling multiple priorities with focus and efficiency.

Desirable skills and experience

  • AWS Connect/Service Cloud Voice, Docusign, Salesforce Maps and Marketing Cloud.
  • Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Familiarity with Sales Cloud,
  • JEST testing experience.
  • Experience with platforms beyond Salesforce.
