Your Future Duties And Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end Salesforce release activities, ensuring reliable and predictable deployments across multiple environments. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain release pipelines, enforce governance, and evolve CI/CD practices that enhance delivery speed and system stability. You’ll have the opportunity to influence DevOps maturity across the organisation, sharing your expertise to embed best practices and deliver measurable improvement in quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & coordinate release planning, deployment, and post‑release validation across Salesforce environments
  • Develop & automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes using tools like Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset
  • Manage & optimise environment configuration, branching strategies, and version control
  • Ensure & govern compliance with release management and change control procedures
  • Monitor & report on release metrics, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Collaborate & support Agile delivery teams, providing technical guidance on DevOps and release best practices

Required Qualifications

You should have strong Salesforce and DevOps experience, with a passion for automation, process improvement, and quality delivery. You’ll be comfortable managing complex environments and working collaboratively in an Agile setting.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in Salesforce release management and deployment automation
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce DX, metadata API, and unlocked packages
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Proficiency with Git version control, scripting (e.g., Shell or Python), and automated testing integration
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II or DevOps Center Specialist) are desirable
