The role

As a SAP Security Analyst, you’ll be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting security and authorizations for Babcock ERP applications (SAP, SuccessFactors, Business Technology Platform, SAP IdM, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Field Services, Solution Manager, Security Weaver GRC products, and other non-SAP Cloud Products).

Your daily tasks will include:

1. Providing technical and configuration support for SAP and Non-SAP authorizations and roles across all SAP supported systems.
2. Developing security roles to minimize business risk and ensure segregation of duties.
3. Understanding business processes to develop access controls and resolve user access issues.
4. Participating in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting, and documentation.
5. Proposing best practice solutions across supported technologies.

This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, based near our Lakeside Portsmouth site or at key Babcock hubs such as Bristol, Plymouth, or London, with hybrid working and occasional travel.

Essential experience

• Hands-on SAP Security support and configuration experience, with over 3 implementations.
• Understanding of SAP authorization concepts in an enterprise environment.
• SAP security technical skills across main functional areas and Basis components.
• Experience in designing and deploying SAP Security & Authorization solutions.
• Supporting user access across multiple SAP modules and systems (ECC, S4 HANA, BW, Coupa, Portal, PO/PI, Gateway).
• Experience with security/authorizations and user access in SuccessFactors and other SAP/Non-SAP cloud systems.

Qualifications

• A university degree or relevant experience in Security or Information Management.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
