What You'll Do

SAP recently decided to combine and harmonize all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Backend Development using JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development: Develop, test, and maintain web applications using cutting-edge technologies. Primary focus on backend development using JavaScript, with frontend tasks as needed.
• Team collaboration: Work closely with the development team, UX/UI designers, business, and systems analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Code review & quality assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and perform thorough testing to identify and fix bugs before product delivery.
• Documentation: Document technical specifications, user guides, and other project documentation to support development efforts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development using JavaScript.
• Extensive frontend experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and popular frameworks like Express.js.
• Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, product knowledge, and up-to-date industry standards and best practices.
• Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• 6+ years of related professional experience.
