OverviewOur client requires an experienced SAP S4 Transition Lead to support a major SAP transformation portfolio delivering upgrades and changes.Start: ASAPClearance: SC CLEARANCELocation: Hybrid - 2 days on-site (site near to Chester)IR35: Outside IR35Rate: FlexibleResponsibilitiesProvide senior SAP S4 transition leadership and governance for a complex SAP transformation portfolio.Translate business requirements into practical implementation projects and processes using internal and third-party service providers.Lead programme and project delivery, including programme assurance and governance (planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes).Command respect and create a sense of community among business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders.Act as a design thinker who can visualise outcomes and influence others to align on those outcomes.Operate effectively in a regulated environment and in multi-vendor outsourced environments.Identify and solve problems proactively; drive positive outcomes in eNPS scores internally with IT and across the wider business.Build senior client stakeholder relationships; set strategic direction, define technical scope, and lead technical teams while governing their deliverables.Demonstrate excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills to achieve outcomes across the organisation.Specific knowhow and technical skillsStrategic vision of how an S4 environment technical stack should be supported.Operational efficiency to ensure the vision and goals are achieved.Digital enablement to achieve best practice and operational gains through technology, data, and security standards.Project leadership with accountability for plans, timescales, and budgets.Deep understanding of architectural and technical SAP solutions.High-level understanding of Non-Functional Requirements and mitigation of their impact on SAP solutions.Effective issue management, prioritisation, and pragmatic direction setting aligned with longer-term strategy.Subject matter expertise and ability to apply knowledge across the domain; experience integrating 3rd party products into complex IT estates and managing interdependencies in multi-supplier engagements.Security and application notesDue to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or having held high level security clearance in the past are welcome to apply.
