SC Cleared / Clearable Data Protection Officer - 6 Month Contract (OUTSIDE IR35) iO Associates are currently looking for an SC Cleared (preferable) or Clearable Data Protection Officer / Privacy Specialist to join a UK Government programme. This is an OUTSIDE IR35 Contract role offering up to £675 a day for an initial 6 months (scope to extend by 12 months). This is a hybrid working role (mostly remote) and you can work from either London, Bristol or Manchester. We're looking for candidates with the following:

5+ years experience working as a Data Protection Officer / Data Protection Specialist / Privacy Specialist / Technologist. Experience working with Government clients / projects and IAPP certified (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT). Ideally worked for Big Tech firms and big Cloud consultancies before moving into government programmes. Eligibility for SC Clearance (UK National) or currently holding active SC Clearance.
