Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Workday Data Consultant or Lead to join a high-impact transformation programme kicking off in September. You'll take ownership of Workday data migration, transformation, and integration activities during a critical phase of a Workday deployment. This role requires someone hands‑on, technically strong, and comfortable interfacing with stakeholders across IT and HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday data workstream across multiple modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Talent, etc.)
  • Define and execute data migration strategies, including mapping, cleansing, extraction, and validation
  • Manage data cutover activities and contribute to overall programme readiness
  • Collaborate with implementation partners, internal teams, and third‑party vendors
  • Build and maintain detailed documentation for all data processes
  • Proactively flag risks and ensure data integrity throughout each phase of deployment

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Workday Data Consultant or Lead on at least 2 full‑cycle implementations
  • Expertise in Workday data migration and transformation techniques (EIB, iLoads, Workday Studio beneficial)
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll data domains
  • Ability to manage data quality and validation at scale
  • Confident communicator able to lead workstreams and influence stakeholders
  • Experience working in large‑scale enterprise environments

Desirable (Nice‑to‑Have)

  • SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Familiarity with UK government or public sector environments
  • Workday certifications (Core HCM, Advanced Reporting, etc.)
  • Strong Excel, SQL or other data manipulation tools
