Key Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and enhance infrastructure hosting for engineering and development environments
- Carry out physical and virtual infrastructure builds (network, storage, compute)
- Configure, optimise, and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server/Desktop environments
- Contribute to the design and integration of new solutions to meet evolving business needs
- Support CI/CD tooling and containerised workloads (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Ensure environments are aligned with governance, security, and accreditation requirements
- Maintain design documentation and knowledge bases for transparency and collaboration
Skills & Experience Required
- 3+ years\' experience as a Platform Engineer in secure or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration, containerisation, and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server/Desktop and Red Hat Linux (RHEL)
- Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred)
- Understanding of network fundamentals (switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs, VNets)
- Experience with VMware, Citrix VDI, and virtualised environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
- Familiarity with security classifications and Secure by Design principles
Desirable
- Industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCDP)
- Experience working with defence programmes or MOD environments

- Rate: Market rate (Inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid with on-site presence required (secure site)
- Clearance: Active SC clearance required
