Overview

Part-Time, Fractional & Interim CEOs, MDs, NEDs; real-world Advisors who have scaled businesses. Boardroom Advisors is a team of part-time people working to help Scale-ups and SMEs succeed. We are seeking experienced business leaders who have run their own company and have experience as a Consultant or Board Advisor.

There is no entry or joining fee to this opportunity as this is not a franchise. Directors run their own region as an Associate, building their team of Advisors, potential partners and clients. The role is 2-3 days/week alongside your own company; you will be involved in business development, sales, marketing, networking, recruitment, team management and customer service, with a strong emphasis on selling.

Ownership plan is to have the business owned by senior people within the company in a 5-6 year period, probably via an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) or similar. This is not a franchise; there is no signing-on or annual franchise fee. You operate as an Associate, running your own region.

Job Description

We already have over 150 senior Advisors across the UK who can act as part-time Operations, Commercial or Managing Directors, or Non-Executive Directors. Regional Directors can also be Advisors if they wish. We are looking for Regional Directors in several areas of the UK, especially London, East Midlands and Scotland.

Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

Background

The company was founded by John G. Courtney. John has started 7 of his own businesses and has been highly ranked on the Top 100 Entrepreneur's List compiled by City AM. He was twice shortlisted for Best Mentor/Advisor and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 by techSPARK. John has served as a Board Director for over 40 years and has experience placing Non-Executive Directors for over 25 years, trained as a strategy consultant, ran a Management Consultancy for 10 years, and led a Digital Agency for 10 more years. Boardroom Advisors consists of real-world advisors who have built successful businesses and gained extensive experience.
