Job Title: Security Consultant

Grade: GG09-GG12

Referral Bonus: £5000

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivery of small to medium cyber security work-streams or engagements
  • Understanding business and information risk context of our customers and judging risk at a technical and business process level
  • Reviewing effectiveness of security controls and proposing proportionate security improvements and mitigations
  • Analysing and researching security technologies to support the development of innovative solutions
  • Working with both IT and OT environments, across government and/or critical national infrastructure sectors
  • Working and collaborating with account teams to identify new opportunities for work and support the production of quality proposals

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to articulate and pitch security advice, often at a technical level, directly to key customer stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as both written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working in both OT and environments desirable
  • Can evaluate cyber security risk at the technical, system process and/or organisational level measuring the associated business impact using a structured approach
  • Can document and articulate to customer stakeholders how to manage cyber security risk utilising a structured approach based on industry framework

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
