About the role
As a Behavioural Science Engagement Partner, you’ll help embed a secure culture across the business by applying Behavioural Science to drive behavioural change at scale. From diagnosing risks to designing interventions, you’ll turn insights into action and measure their impact. You’ll be a crucial part of building a new, innovative team working on impactful industry first initiatives.
You will be responsible for- Behavioural Research & Cultural Insights: Use a variety of research methods and desk-based research to understand the systematic and behavioural drivers behind security risks and uncover the human factors influencing security decisions; assess and analyse cultural dynamics that shape security behaviours across the organisation; turn behavioural insights into clear, innovative, and actionable recommendations; communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Behaviour Change Solutions & Culture Transformation: Support the development and execution of a behaviour change strategy that makes secure actions intuitive and effortless; lead initiatives end-to-end; advise teams on secure decision-making using behavioural science techniques like choice architecture and nudges; create and implement system-wide initiatives to embed a proactive security culture.
- Measuring Success & Driving Continuous Improvement: Develop and track key metrics to evaluate intervention effectiveness; provide data-driven insights to refine and scale successful strategies; promote a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Operational skills: Produce clear, well-structured research papers; present a compelling narrative to drive action and influence; demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels; monitor and evaluate the impact of behaviour change interventions using qualitative and quantitative research; write reports outlining the behavioural science of cybersecurity for technical and non-technical audiences; apply behavioural science theories and culture change methods to organisational settings.
- Additional responsibilities: Drive improvements based on data-driven decisions and stakeholder feedback; keep up to date with changing market knowledge and assess new opportunities for behavioural change; manage service providers required to deliver the team’s capabilities.
- An undergraduate or master’s degree in a related field, such as Psychology, Economics, Sociology.
- 2-7 years of experience in a relevant role (role can adapt to level of experience).
- Deep understanding of behavioural science and culture with a track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating behaviour change interventions.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to bridge the gap between research and business needs, turning insights into action.
- Experience in corporate, start-ups or consulting roles (e.g., Healthcare, Finance, Consumer Goods) or experience in the Cybersecurity, Risk, or Tech domains is a plus, but curiosity and adaptability matter more.
