TheSEN Projects Officerplays a crucial role in supporting the statutory SEN Team by ensuring the accuracy of data, maintaining EHC Plans, and driving process improvements. This role combines elements ofproject coordination, data integrity, and administrative support, with a strong emphasis onSEND knowledgeandindependent project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuredata accuracyacross systems, particularly aligning records and logging updates correctly.
- Support theconsultant leading the project, providing administrative and project coordination support.
- Work independently onsmaller projects, managing timelines and deliverables.
- Useproject management tools(e.g., Gantt charts) to track progress and identify gaps.
- Review and alignrole definitions and responsibilitieswithin the team.
- Maintain and update information inSynergy(experience with this system is highly desirable).
- Collaborate with families and service providers to upholdcoproduced practice standards.
- Assist withtraining, workforce planning, and continuous service improvement.
- Ensure statutory duties are met in relation toEHC Plansand appropriate placements.
- Background inSENDand understanding ofEHC Plansand statutory processes.
- Experience in aproject officerorproject supportrole, ideally within a local authority or education setting.
- Strongdata managementandsystem reconciliationskills.
- Familiarity withSynergyor similar case management systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
