The primary services we offer are brand and social strategy, organic influencer campaigns, influencer-led paid social and social media management.

We are part of Captivate Group and within this we have three sister agencies; Seen Presents, Seen Studios and Stir.

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially minded and strategically sharp Senior Account Director to lead key client relationships and drive excellence across our campaigns and teams.

You’ll be responsible for and targeted on the growth, success and retention of major accounts. You’ll inspire teams, build trusted partnerships with senior clients, and represent the agency externally: from leading pitches and panels to driving thought leadership within the industry.

This role requires a confident communicator and leader with exceptional relationship‑building skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to turn strategic thinking into impactful action.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Relationship Building

  • Lead strategic relationships across key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders, industry peers and potential new clients.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for account growth.

Strategic Thinking & Campaign Excellence

  • Provide clear, strategic direction across accounts, ensuring all work aligns with client objectives and delivers measurable results.
  • Partner with Strategy and Campaign teams to deliver insights‑led recommendations that strengthen creative and commercial performance.
  • Foster and nurture a motivated and supported team that thinks innovatively, applying their knowledge to inform strategic client guidance.

Communication & Presentation

  • Champion excellence in all written and verbal communication across your team to make your clients' lives easy.
  • Ensure all client‑facing materials, from presentations and pitches to campaign recaps are clear, insightful and concise.
  • Act as a confident, persuasive and inspiring presenter, able to engage audiences across new business, client meetings and public speaking opportunities.
  • Support the leadership team with thought‑led content, including articles, panels and events.

Commercial & Business Development

  • Lead on account financial management, including forecasting, budgeting and profitability tracking.
  • Identify and convert opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling and new business.
  • Present compelling business cases and proactive proposals that drive agency revenue growth, for example optimising workflows, integrating AI to enhance efficiency or developing new products or propositions to adapt to our clients' ever changing needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver annual targets across client portfolios.

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Inspire and develop a high‑performing team of account and campaign managers.
  • Provide clear direction, mentorship, and growth pathways for all direct reports.
  • Manage workload allocation, capacity planning and performance reviews.
  • Handle challenging conversations with professionalism, fairness and empathy.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and supportive team culture where everyone thrives.

Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Work closely with cross‑departmental leads to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Champion cross‑agency collaboration across Captivate Group.
  • Encourage open communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Director (or equivalent) within an agency environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen; experienced in budget management, forecasting and profitability.
  • Strong strategic thinker, able to translate client objectives into actionable, measurable plans.
  • Skilled in people management - able to mentor, motivate and lead by example.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions‑focused and able to manage multiple complex projects.
  • A champion for collaboration, culture and quality across every touchpoint.
  • Willingness to participate in training, awards judging, speaker opportunities and thought leadership initiatives to represent the agency externally.
  • Demonstration of a proactive approach to personal & professional development.
  • Ability to embrace feedback, coaching and development opportunities to enhance leadership, strategy and commercial skills.

The Interview Process:

  1. If you are successful, we will invite you to join a 30 minute virtual call for us to get to know you better and for us to tell you more about the role and agency, and answer any initial questions.
  2. If we think you’d be a great fit, we will then invite you to do a task relevant to the role you’ve applied for, which we wouldn’t expect to take more than one hour.
  3. A final decision will be made following this.

  • Hybrid working; working from our Shoreditch HQ on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and from home on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Core Hours of 10:00 - 17:00 with the flexibility to start anytime between 08:00 - 10:00 and finish between 17:00 - 19:00.
