Purpose of the Job

The Senior Account Manager will work alongside the team to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial targets. This individual should be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans. We are seeking Beverage sector client and POSM production management experience with a proven track record for delivering client solutions and nurturing relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering operational excellence
  • Delivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these Clients
  • Managing and developing key client relationships
  • Managing and owning the project cycle and leading the pitch
  • Achieve and excel growth targets and savings commitments

You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients, coordinating and liaising with the regional team and operations team to deliver your objectives. You’ll be a confident ‘self starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organizational skills. This role combines client relationship management and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for clients. Strong client facing presentation skills are essential as is a strategic outlook and the ability to question the norm and think outside of the box.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of all POSM categories; proactively finds opportunities to maximize delivery for the brand and drive these opportunities with our Clients.
  • Work with strategic sourcing and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions.
  • Influence client thinking to produce outstanding results.
  • Understand operations and direct strategy with the teams.
  • Attend WIPs and meetings, capture and influence briefs from clients and cascade to the greater team.
  • Deliver excellent service to clients with a professional "can do" attitude.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts.
  • Provide technical input and advice on projects to achieve high quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Strong Client Service experience and credible senior-level relationships.
  • Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience.
  • Good understanding of Marketing Services concepts.
  • Naturally builds and maintains rapport with the client.
  • Comfortable analyzing and interpreting financial data and producing accurate reports.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work towards team goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Logical and systematic approach to work with flexibility.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand current/changing business strategy and participate in delivering it.
  • Identifies business issues and develops risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present convincingly to a senior audience.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
