As a Senior Account Manager at Circle Agency, you’ll lead the charge in delivering bold, brilliant, and flawlessly executed brand experiences. You’ll take strategic ownership of key client relationships, support the management of the team, mentor rising stars, and manage entire projects, from concept to completion, that hit the mark creatively, commercially, and operationally.
You’ll work closely with Account Directors and collaborate across creative, strategy, and production teams to bring ambitious ideas to life. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, inspires confidence, and knows how to make things happen.
Your Impact
- Lead with excellence: Own client relationships and projects with confidence and accountability, ensuring outstanding delivery at every stage.
- Drive performance: Oversee multiple complex campaigns that meet (and exceed) KPIs, creative standards, and profitability targets.
- Champion Circle: Be an ambassador for our bold, curious, and collaborative culture—both with clients and internally.
- Empower others: Mentor Account Executives and Account Managers, nurturing growth and setting the standard for teamwork and positivity.
- Inspire progress: Continuously improve how we work: smarter, faster, and more creatively.
- Lead end-to-end campaign delivery, from interpreting client briefs to overseeing flawless live, digital, and hybrid activations.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to shape proposals, budgets, and timelines that balance creativity and commercial reality.
- Ensure all project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are tracked accurately using tools like Teamwork, Xero, and Microsoft Teams.
- Take ownership of supplier negotiations, staffing plans, and contracts, ensuring best value and compliance with Circle’s processes.
- Be the driving force behind campaign evaluation and post-event reporting, demonstrating ROI, insight, and strategic thinking.
- Be present and hands-on during live activations, sometimes outside standard working hours, with time-in-lieu for balance.
Client Partnerships
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Serve as a proactive strategic partner, anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and helping clients look around the corner.
- Communicate with precision, confidence, and clarity, even under pressure.
- Support Account Directors in growing accounts, spotting up-sell opportunities, and strengthening Circle’s reputation for world-class delivery.
Creativity & Collaboration
- Bring energy and curiosity to every creative conversation, helping shape concepts that engage and excite.
- Partner with the creative studio and production teams to ensure work is beautifully executed, on brand, and strategically aligned.
- Balance creative ambition with operational excellence, guiding teams to deliver standout experiences that work in the real world.
- Celebrate collaboration, across departments, disciplines, and individuals.
- Own project budgets up to £500k, managing them with diligence and commercial insight.
- Track profitability, margins, and spend in real time, reporting regularly to the Account Director.
- Negotiate confidently with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.
- Ensure all financial processes, from purchase orders to reconciliations, follow Circle’s policies and timelines.
- Contribute to agency growth by identifying efficiencies, new revenue streams, and innovative partnership opportunities.
- Play a key role in identifying new business prospects, developing pitches, and converting leads into clients.
Team Development
- Lead by example, motivating and guiding your team through clarity, empathy, and accountability.
- Support monthly performance reviews and professional development plans for Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and learning — helping your team grow through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
- Actively contribute to Circle’s internal culture, training initiatives, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay curious — from emerging technologies and experiential trends to sustainability and social impact.
- Attend industry events, competitor activations, and thought-leadership sessions; share insights with the wider team.
- Build on your expertise in strategy, measurement, and data-driven campaign performance.
- Encourage others to learn and innovate alongside you.
