Senior Account Manager

- Manage, maintain, and grow strong client relationships.
- Generate new sales opportunities with existing accounts via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face visits.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of projects and recurring revenue.
- Create structured account plans and IT roadmaps for your clients.
- Work with in-house and vendor pre-sales teams to design, cost, and propose solutions.
- Attend industry events to network, promote solutions, and uncover opportunities.
- Keep our CRM and PSA systems up to date and provide accurate monthly forecasts.
- Act as a point of escalation for customer queries, ensuring service excellence.
- Regularly engage on LinkedIn to build your profile and help grow our brand presence.
- Monitor market and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT solutions sales.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to structure and articulate complex opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and over the phone.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proven track record of generating, managing, and closing opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).
- Experience working with Independent Schools or professional services clients would be an advantage.
- A self-starter, motivated by success and results.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and tenacious.
- Collaborative yet able to work independently.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially minded.
- Comfortable working in a home-based role with occasional travel.
- Package £50,000 – £60,000
- Hybrid working – mostly home-based, with flexibility around office days in Gloucester.
