Senior Acoustic Consultant – GBP45,000-GBP55,000 + Benefits | Location: Surrey. Join an established, highly respected acoustic consultancy as a Senior Acoustic Consultant and help deliver flagship projects across the UK and overseas. This is a growth role with a clear path toward Principal level, combining technical leadership, client ownership, and team mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end acoustic assessments and design across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare schemes.
• Own client relationships—scope projects, provide expert advice, and ensure best-in-class delivery.
• Apply and interpret BB93, BS 8233, and Approved Document E to achieve compliant, buildable solutions.
• Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering quality, consistency, and development.
• Produce clear, authoritative reports and ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

About you

• 5+ years\' experience in acoustic consultancy with strong building acoustics and environmental noise expertise.
• Proficient with CadnaA, ODEON, or SoundPLAN (or equivalent).
• Confident in client liaison, project management, and technical reporting.
• Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics or related discipline; full UK driving licence preferred.
