Location: Bristol (Hybrid)
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 + Excellent Benefits

A forward‑thinking environmental and acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its Bristol office. About the role

As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise with creative problem‑solving to deliver sustainable, high‑quality acoustic design. You’ll play a key role in managing complex projects, supporting clients, and helping shape the next generation of acoustic practice.

Duties

• Leading and delivering building acoustics projects from concept to completion
• Producing detailed acoustic designs and reports compliant with UK standards
• Undertaking sound insulation, vibration, and environmental testing
• Working with software such as Odeon, CATT, INSUL, Cadna/A, and Revit
• Collaborating across disciplines to integrate acoustics within wider BIM workflows
• Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development

Requirements

• Proven experience in building acoustics
• Excellent communication and project‑management skills
• Knowledge of construction acoustics, design principles, and UK regulations
• Degree in Acoustics or a related field; MIOA preferred
