Overview

MERJE are working with a rapidly growing General Insurance client with a hire for a Part Qualified Actuary at the Senior Actuarial Analyst level.

We\'re looking for candidates to support the Reserving Lead in a number of regulatory and Reserving related tasks predominately, but also having wider exposure to Capital and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Support activities such as Technical Provisions and Best Estimate Reserves to ensure Solvency II criteria is adhered to.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified Actuary or progress towards actuarial exams, roughly halfway through, with flexibility on progress.
• Experience in a General Insurance company, or consultancy, working on Reserving related tasks.
• Understanding of Reserving is required; Capital and Reporting experiences are considered but not required as the sole focus.
