What You’ll Be Doing

Senior Air Quality Consultant to join a growing air quality team in our London office.

Responsible for detailed dispersion modelling of road traffic emissions, point/area/volume sources for residential, industrial and transport projects. A strong understanding of odour and dust assessments is beneficial.

Opportunity to work across the project lifecycle—from proposal through to completion—and to undertake project management, mentoring, and business development activities.

What You’ll Bring

Enthusiastic, confident, and self‑motivated with excellent verbal and written communication. Willingness to travel and a full driving licence are essential.

Relevant science‑based air quality or environmental sciences degree. Associate or Full member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and the Institute of Air Quality Management. An appropriate master’s degree is highly desirable.

At least three years of consultancy experience.

  • Air quality assessment process and industry standards and guidelines.
  • UK planning and environmental permitting processes.
  • Environmental Impact Assessment.
  • Air dispersion modelling software (ADMS‑R‑roads, ADMS 6) and experience with ArcGIS, QGIS and AutoCAD.
  • Air quality monitoring design and management of monitoring strategies.
  • Effective collaboration with design teams, project managers and clients.
  • Project management and strong report writing skills.
  • Business development and client relationship management experience is desirable.
  • Experience of odour sniff tests, dust monitoring and indoor air quality assessments is desirable.
